हिंदी.वेब न्यूज 24 की केवल एक वेब चैनल के तौर पर स्थापना नहीं की गई है. पत्रकारिता को एक आंदोलन बनाकर जनता के आवाज को बुलंद बनाने का एक प्रभावी माध्यम बनने का हमारा प्रयास है.
भारतीय संविधान के भीतर पत्रकारिता को काफी अहम स्थान प्राप्त है. इसे लोकतंत्र का चौथा स्तंभ कहा जाता है. एक वक्त था देश में यह स्तंभ इतना मजबूत हुआ करता था कि, अखबारों की हेडलाईन्स से सत्ता के गलियारे तक थर्रा उठते थे. अखबारों में छपी खबरों के कारण सत्ता की मजबूत कुर्सियों में दरारें पड़ती थी और सिंहासन खाली हो जाया करते थे.
जनता के ज्वलंत प्रहरी के तौर पर पत्रकारिता काम कर रही थी. समाज को देश-दुनिया की सूचना देना, समाज को शिक्षित बनाना, उसे कुंठावस्था में लाने वाली दकिायनूसी परंपराओं से उबारना, समाजोत्थान की प्रक्रिया को तेज करना ऐसे काम होते थे.
पिछले 70 सालों के देश के प्रजातांत्रिक सुहाने सफर में देश की पत्रकारिता में कई सारे महान पत्रकारों ने अपना अहम योगदान दिया है.
